The Victory Fund is proud to honor U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., with the 2011 Gay & Lesbian Leadership Award. We hope you'll join us and Rep. Tammy Baldwin for an elegant rooftop reception at 101 Constitution as we applaud their remarkable support of LGBT equality in Washington, D.C., on October 5, 2011.
Collins is a courageous leader who last year was at the center of the fight to repeal the discriminatory "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.
Ellison, a vice-chair of the House LGBT Equality Caucus, will be honored for his unwavering commitment to full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.
