Christopher Cabaldon began his distinguished career in public service as a trailblazer, and is the first Mayor of West Sacramento directly elected by the people.  During his five terms as Mayor, Christopher has stood consistently for democratic principles, and worked hard to advance the issues of his city.

As a champion of education, Christopher Cabaldon has put forth unparalleled leadership both in and out of City Hall.  As Mayor, as Vice Chancellor of the California Community Colleges, as Staff Director of the California State Assembly Higher Education Committee, and as President of EdVoice, a statewide nonprofit network of citizens and education philanthropists, Christopher’s influence on education in California has opened doors for students throughout the state.
