Cho to accept Gay & Lesbian Leadership Award

Actress and comedian Margaret Cho will accept a Gay & Lesbian Leadership Award for her passionate and vocal LGBT advocacy at next week's ceremony in Washington D.C. Click here to attend the ceremony.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer will also receive an award for his commitment to equality.

Portland Mayor-elect Sam Adams, a former Victory Fund endorsee, will host the event. Theresa Sparks, president of the San Francisco Police Commission, will also attend.

The Gay & Lesbian Leadership Awards will take place on Sept. 24 at the Sewall-Belmont House & Museum.
