Progressive Democrats of Los Angeles endorse Healey

Former Deputy State Controller, Laurette Healey is endorsed by the Progressive Democrats of Los Angeles (PDLA) with a roster of over 600 local members is the fastest growing Democratic Club in the State and the largest Democratic Chapter in all of Los Angeles. The Progressive Caucus was a standing room only crowd at the Democratic Convention this weekend and played a decisve role in the weekend's activities.

“It is clear to me that the voices within the Democratic party are demanding change. I am proud to be endorsed by like-minded colleagues - the Progressive Democrats. I offer a new philisophy of leadership which understands the need for strong fiscal responsibility balanced with advocacy for social progress. This is the cornerstone of my candidacy and we are definately not old school. I am proud to be a part of the fastest growing movement in the State of Califiornia. I look forward to serving in the State legislature with these objectives in mind,” says Healey.
